About Us

Wannabe is a performing arts club for young people in Holmewood based

at St Christopher’s Church.  It is for young people aged between 5 and 15.

Wannabe takes place on a Saturday morning between 9.30 and 12

during term time.  During the morning we work in three age groups which

all spend their time enjoying drama, music and dance.

The activities are led and taught by professional musicians, actors and dancers

and are supported by a team of volunteers who keep the club running and

care for everyone.

Every few months Wannabe work towards a large production. Over the past

couple of years we have produced  “Bugsy Malone”, “The Lion, The Witch

and The Wardrobe” and a show titled “Once Upon a Fairy Tale”, which we

wrote ourselves.
